The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for efforts to advance the mental health of the United States. One of its duties is the oversight of opioid rehabilitation facilities, which are centers that provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
