The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for efforts to promote the behavioral health of the U.S.. One of its duties is the administering of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are centers that provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
