The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for efforts to advance the mental health of the U.S.. One of its duties is the administering of opioid rehabilitation facilities, which are centers who provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
