Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for medical healthcare services for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals who do have Medicare and need addiction recovery services in Miami, Medicare can pay for various rehab programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various forms of medical care.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications needed for drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as those required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
