DWI Clients - Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Facilities - Force, PA.

DWI clients in rehab need specific requirements met to fulfill the terms of their court sentencing. Treatment programs which help fulfill these court requirements and terms, which are usually more lenient than regular sentencing such as heavy fines and incarceration, are offered in Force to deliver alcohol education, group counseling, and further evaluation for individuals with heavy substance abuse problems.

Drug and Alcohol Education is a primary treatment tool used at rehabs treating DWI clients. There are various levels of alcohol education classes which can vary by state. Level I education generally consist of 12 hours of group education related to the effects and dangers of alcohol and drugs. This is the what someone with a first offense or someone under the age of 21 will usually be required to complete. Level II classes would include both substance abuse education and group therapy at a court approved program. How long a person will need to remain in therapy depends upon certain factors, which can be, for example, the number of DWI's the individual has had, and the severity of the violation. Ordinarily, clients will be sentenced to the Level II DWI classes and therapy except for when their blood-alcohol content was very low when they were arrested and there were no other significant infractions when the individual was arrested.
