The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of health efforts to promote the behavioral health of the United States. One of its duties is the oversight of opioid rehabilitation facilities, which are centers who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are in the midst of opioid addiction and dependency.
