Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Centers - New Paris, PA.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for medical healthcare services for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For people that do have Medicare and require substance abuse treatment in New Paris, Medicare will pay for certain treatment programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different forms of care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient drug and alcohol treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but individuals will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the fees for outpatient substance abuse rehabilitation. This includes outpatient care, therapy, treatment for co-occurring disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and drugs dispensed by clinics. It also pays for professional interventions.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for clients who want additional coverage in addition to Medicare Parts A, B, and D. People who have Part C may have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for substance abuse related medications. Including medications used for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and medications required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
