The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of health efforts to advance the mental health of the United States. One of its obligations is the oversight of opioid rehab programs, which are programs who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are in the midst of opioid addiction and dependency.
