Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for health benefits for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require drug or alcohol rehabilitation in West Alexander, Medicare may pay for certain rehab programs and treatment services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various forms of medical care.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications associated with treating drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as medications used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
