Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities - Brentwood, TN.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health care for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require substance abuse rehabilitation in Brentwood, Medicare may pay for certain rehabilitation programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various kinds of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient substance rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the individual's lifetime.

People who have Part C can have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for substance abuse related medications. Including medications used for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as medications used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
