Regular out-patient recovery is mostly a less costly alternative to more intensive outpatient centers or inpatient treatment, and is the least intense of formal alcohol or drug rehabilitation available in Chattanooga. Some clients are in rehab for their first time and have chosen regular outpatient because that is all they can afford and time commitment and logistically because of school, work or other obligations. In many cases, a regular outpatient recovery program may be insufficient in intensity for a client who is addressing a severe drug and alcohol issue and has never experienced treatment before or has fallen off the wagon following previous outpatient rehabilitation.
