The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of health efforts to promote the mental health of the United States. One of its duties is the supervision of opioid rehabilitation facilities, which are centers who provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
