The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department in charge of health efforts to promote the mental health of the nation. One of its duties is the supervision of opioid rehab programs, which are programs that provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
