Regular Outpatient Treatment - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Centers - ARP, TX.

Regular outpatient recovery is mostly a less costly alternative to more intensive outpatient options or inpatient recovery, and is the lowest intensity of formal alcohol or drug treatment available in ARP. Some clients are in rehab for their first time and have chosen regular outpatient because of the cost and time commitment and scheduling because of work, school or other obligations. For some, regular outpatient is a step down to service following treatment in a more intensive outpatient center like a partial hospitalization or in-patient program.

Regular outpatient rehab services have individual and group counseling services occurring once maybe twice per week. Programs which include a wider range of services may include psychotherapies (behavioral therapy) to assist with relapse prevention and dual diagnosis services to help address co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders. The length of time someone stays involved in recovery can change from client to client, and a person's progress can be assessed every now and then and an extension of treatment can be recommended contingent upon these findings.

In many situations, a regular outpatient rehab program may be insufficient in intensity for someone who is addressing a severe drug and alcohol issue and has not experienced treatment before or has relapsed after prior outpatient treatment.
