The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for efforts to promote the behavioral health of the United States. One of its duties is the administering of opioid rehab facilities, which are centers who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction. Drug given are drugs such as buprenorphine, methadone, and other drugs that stop curb cravings and withdrawal for opioid addicted individuals.
