The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department in charge of health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the United States. One of its obligations is the administering of opioid rehabilitation facilities, which are centers who provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
