The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for health efforts to promote the behavioral health of the United States. One of its obligations is the administering of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are programs who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction. Drug prescribed are drugs like buprenorphine, methadone, and other drugs which stop curb cravings and withdrawal for opioid addicted clients.
