Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Treatment Facilities - Greenville, TX.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for health care for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals who do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol treatment in Greenville, this program will cover certain treatment programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different types of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient substance treatment, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but individuals will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the fees for outpatient substance abuse treatment. This includes outpatient services, therapy, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as depression or anxiety and medications dispensed by clinics. It also pays for professional interventions.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for people who want additional health insurance in addition to Medicare Parts A, B, and D. Individuals who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for substance abuse related medications. Including medications needed for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and those used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
