The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation. One of its obligations is the administering of opioid rehabilitation facilities, which are centers which offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
