DWI Clients - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Facilities - Rescue, VA.

DWI clients in rehab need to complete specific requirements to fulfill the conditions of their court sentencing. Rehab programs which help fulfill these requirements and conditions, which are typically much more lenient than normal sentencing which would include heavy fines and incarceration, are offered in Rescue to deliver DWI classes, therapy, and further assessment for individuals with heavy drug or alcohol issues.

Drug and Alcohol Education is an essential tool used at rehab programs catering to DWI clients. There are different levels of alcohol education which can vary by state. Level I education classes typically include 12 hours of education related to the effects of drugs and/or alcohol. This is the what someone with a single offense or someone under the age of 21 will commonly be required to complete. Level II courses would consist of both education and group therapy at a court approved program. How long a client will need to participate in therapy depends upon certain factors, which can be, for example, the number of DWI's the person has had, and the seriousness of the offense. Most often clients will be sentenced to the Level II DWI classes and therapy except for when their blood-alcohol level was extremely low when they were stopped and there weren't any other significant charges when the person was arrested.
