The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department in charge of efforts to advance the mental health of the United States. One of its duties is the supervision of opioid rehab programs, which are programs that offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
