Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Programs - Lakewood, WI.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for health benefits for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals who do have Medicare and require addiction recovery services in Lakewood, this program can pay for certain rehab programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain forms of care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient substance rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for a total of 190 days of inpatient care, this applies to the individual's lifetime.

People who have Part C can have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications associated with treating drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as medications required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
