The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of efforts to advance the mental health of the U.S.. One of its duties is the supervision of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are centers which provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
