Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities - Chester, WV.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for health care for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals who do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol recovery services in Chester, Medicare may pay for certain rehabilitation programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various types of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient substance rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, this applies to the person's lifetime.

Individuals who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for substance abuse related medications. Including medications needed for drug and alcohol withdrawal and medications required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
