Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Treatment Centers - Herndon, WV.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for health care for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require drug or alcohol treatment in Herndon, this program will pay for certain recovery programs and treatment services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various forms of care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient addiction treatment, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but individuals will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, this applies to the individual's lifetime.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications associated with treating withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and those used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
